Yes I decided to punish myself for what reason I have not the faintest. Having watched only bits and pieces of this movie over the years I finally decided what the heck and watched it all. Getting past the acting of Sofia Coppola and the over commercialized Andy Garcia was tough but I endured to the end . Cue the applause. While this movie was not bad it came nowhere close to the classic Godfather pt. 1 and 2. And I feel as though by watching it, in some strange alternate universe kind of way, I may have diluted the aforementioned classics. Thanks Sofia, thanks Andy.
However there is one scene in the movie which was epic. The penultimate scene in which the opera served as the backdrop to the ordered hits at the behest of the Corleone family. Just the opera though, looked awesome.
**Sidenote - the version I watched was the original Godfather pt.3 not the recently remastered Coda version.

Am Pacino is a great actir. Unfortunately Robert Duvall was not a part if this project.
